why does ZZF suck so much?

Anybody else have problems with them? I sent my order in on friday at about 4am. Order didnt get shipped. Today I'm looking at my order status and it says it got packed, but not shipped. They had 2 whole days to ship a 1900xtx. I paid for overnight shipping, I guess i need to pay extra to actually get it out withint a timely manner.
 
They sure dont have the level of service that newegg has. Sorry but if i pay a lot of money for overnighting but it takes them 2 full days to get my order "packed" then it kinda defeats the whole purpose of overnight shipping.
 
i've ordered from them a dozen times probably ans never had a problem. their tracking number sometimes takes a bit to get to me but thats it. product always shipped out the same or next day.

been awhile since my last order though, like 5 months.
 
It seems that they are normally slow to ship. 2 days is about the average for them.

Next time, if you really want it fast, just get it from Newegg.

remember, 2 day shipping != at your door in two days, that means it ships out in two days (either that or it takes two days from the time it ships out) either way, you always add 1-2 days onto the advertised shipping time for processing, etc
 
Umm... I dropped about $1400 at ZZF and got everything in approx. 5 business days. Dropped $10 (for a floppy drive) at Newegg and it took 8 business days.

So, as far as I'm concerned... I guess I'd have to say that ZZF doesn't suck that much.
 
in my limited experience from these vendors, i found that they're both pretty much at par with pricing. newegg has lower prices on some stuff, zzf is lower on some others, a few bucks here and there. what made me order from zzf was that since i'm in jersey, newegg was charging me $80-odd in tax and $75-odd for 3-day shipping. ZZF was $0 tax and $22 for 2-day shipping for the same stuff. let's hope it all arrives in good shape.
 
ZZF doesn't ship instantaneously. IIRC, when I ordered it took a full business day to get out the door. If you didn't order early enough in the day, the process might not even get underway until the next day. Honestly, I suspect ctark's order will go out tomorrow, if it hasn't already gone out today. That'd hardly be grounds for saying a company sucks.
 
I disagree with the ZZF hate. It's true they don't update the status right away, but in my experience they do ship if you order by 2pm EST even if the page isn't updated. Monarch, on the other hand....I've ordered two seperate things from them in the last 2 weeks, and each took an additional business day to ship (i.e. ordered on Saturday, didn't ship til Tuesday night).
 
We shall see, still just says packed. If it hasnt i definately will be complaining and may just refuse the package altogether and tell the CC company to do a chargeback.
 
Well after personal experiences as well as friends living nearby, it took them 2 days JUST to process my order, another 2 days to package and ship it and then it was a day late, ZZF sucks. I just spent $1200 at newegg in the past week knowing full well I couldhave saved about 50 bucks overall (shipping and product) but I'd rather get my products in a timely matter... not 2 weeks

ha. i've had the same rant about newegg.
 
It doesn't matter whether you order from newegg, zzf, monarch, or any other online retailer. Some may have better track records then others (i.e. NEWEGG RULZ), but it basically comes down to YMMV.
Now this may seem weird, but it's true right? It's all about luck whether your package gets out the day you order it.

And to the OP, you paid for overnight shipping, not uber fast packaging and handling. Give zzf a break. Patience is a virtue

I stopped going to ZZF because it was a pain to search for items, at least compared to NewEgg. The NewEgg drill down searchs are awesome.

I agree wih the OP, though - it shouldn't take 2 days to process the order, and it should have definately been out the door on Monday. I guess you can't expect Saturday shipping, but definately by Monday.
 
ive bought more then 8 different things from led lights, logitech g5 and mx518 and thermaltake typhoon and so on... never had a problem. shipping is a breeze.
 
The real question is why people keep posting these "(Insert Store Name) Sucks" threads after a single bad experience as if their single experience outweighs those of the other thousand satisfied customers.
