Why does Trump get so exercised over black athletes peacefully protesting vs white nationalists?

If you are defending the Presidents right to free speech I guess you are defending his right to call NFL players mothers bitches. I guess it makes sense.

The only thing you are correct about is Trump not saying the word "black" The original oremise was racial injustice concerning people of color. That's where it started. Since Trump and most Republicans don't want to have a discussion about race they tried to claim country/soldier/flag disrespect. Even though Trump has committed all of these you people give him a pass. Trump pitted NFL/NBA against NASCAR and hockey and everyone familiar with sports gets the subtext.

Finally the last example of Trump singling out blacks. Steph Curry says he doesn't think he's going to the White House Trump throws a tirade and uninvites the entire team. Tom Brady says he isn't going to visit the White House, crickets

NFL players who take a knee should be fired while Kid Rock who cuts a hole in a flag and wears it as a poncho gets a personal invite to the White House.

it has absolutely nothing to do with the flag and everything to do with race.

Well if we both agree the poll isn't credible then how do you know? Also, you realize the Washington Examiner is a conservative advocacy magazine, right? It's not a real newspaper.

I'm not defending the poll. It may or may not be spot on just like ANY other poll. I do think that most people think the President is correct and they should stand for the Anthem. This has nothing to do with race.

Funny how conservatives still think black people are automatically lying and they get to tell them how they should deal with their issue.

CK and other athletes have already told you people why they are taking a knee but you think they are lying and it really is a plot to disrespect the country. These same people have relatives who are current or former service members and would not disrespect them

However you choose to believe everything Trump shovels down your throat and this guy lies most of the time. I've yet to see him go 5 consecutive days without lying.

That isn't what I said. Do you have a link to a poll that says otherwise? I believe most Americans agree that they should stand for the Anthem and that is not racist.
