Why does the Matrix HAVE to have crappy music?

The movie would really have benefitted from a more classical or electronic score instead of the silly nu-metal crap on the soundtrack.. Really, the first matrix at least got it 1/4 right by playing some massive attack.. I think the movie would have rocked even more had they had a score similar to requiem for a dream's...

I agree the second movies music was not that great, didnt really fit the mood. THe first movie i thought the music fit well.

Just hack into the Matrix and insert your own music 😀

i didn't think the music in the action scenes matched up very well

but the soundtrack from the first matrix during the big gun fight in the lobby was pretty sweet

well, that's the soundtrack with a some nu-metal stuff... but the sound IN the movie is quite different. only metal-style stuff is in the credits. RATM!!!!
imo specially the fights scene music wasn't as good as in the first.

i didn't like the music score the first time i saw it. then again i didn't like most of the movie the first time i saw it.

i saw it a second time (just to get some more plot details and such) and i got chills down my spine. the music in this one was about 10 times better than the original. in fact, EVERY aspect of this movie is better than the first.

your problem is that you went into the movie with a certain expectation. you didn't get it, so you're dissappointed. that's what happened the first time i went to see it. the matrix was the search. reloaded is the journey. different movie, different focus, different everything. go watch it again, but leave your expectations at the door.

IMHO, the trailer music > the actual music (Except for RatM 😀)

*nod* Rob Dougan - I'm Not Driving Anymore is a great track.

What RATM song will they use to close after Revolutions? 😉

Guerilla Radio would be good if the film ends on a high note.

Sorry I didn?t hear you the first million times... can you please repeat it?
Rave scene was the stupidest thing evAr.

Why was it stupid? It's supposed to contrast with the postmodern, sterile outside world and matrix. Anyone who took a high school English class should realize the significance of the scene.

Agreed.

Anyone else think that Rob Dougan's two "new" tracks just sound like remixes of "Clubbed to Death"?

Anyone who was actually watching that movie could of picked it up from the ragged clothing the population of Zion wore, the crappy food that they ate, etc. Are you saying that people in the Matrix don't have raves/dances/parties/etc. In fact, didn't Neo and Trinity meet for the first at a rave (inside the Matrix)?
