Rave scene was the stupidest thing evAr.
Sorry I didn?t hear you the first million times... can you please repeat it?
Rave scene was the stupidest thing evAr.
Why was it stupid? It's supposed to contrast with the postmodern, sterile outside world and matrix. Anyone who took a high school English class should realize the significance of the scene.
Anyone who was actually watching that movie could of picked it up from the ragged clothing the population of Zion wore, the crappy food that they ate, etc. Are you saying that people in the Matrix don't have raves/dances/parties/etc. In fact, didn't Neo and Trinity meet for the first at a rave (inside the Matrix)?
i could of cared less what you think 😉

the chase music kicked ass
Hehe, I could care less what I think too. 😛

the scene also contrasted sacred love (neo and trinity under the archway) against lust (people all over each at the rave). but whatever. people take what they want from movies. i thought it was great, rave scene or no rave scene.

it's still sacred love. it doesn't matter where you do it, it's still between two people in love. the fact that the sex scene was under the archway was only to highlight the point.

i guess so, but i can't say. he comes home say "where's my pussy...?" so, i dunno.

I didn't think the soundtrack fit the movie as well as it did in the first. Nothing could have fit better in the first than Spybreak during the hallway battle.

The sound track for this one was okay, but not stellar. At least there was some rage in there 🙂

As opposed to, "I'm never letting go. I love you too damn much!" 😀

I liked some of the music on the soundtrack... the stuff by rob dougan was good. Rage was on the soundtrack so that was good. The first movie had some better music, but I think that in the fight scenes the nu-metal fit well.

fight scenes nu-metal??? where? (getting vcd ready...)

Juno Reactor - Mona Lisa is great.

I'm still trying to find the song from the trailer that starts when they show the WB logo, nobody knows what it is though.

I though the movie was a bit boring. It seemed like a hi-tech kung fu movie. And the music did suck bad. Just saw it today and almost fell asleep.

Newb isn't a statement of how long you've been here, Newb is a state of mind..

First off, there were over 8 or 9 trailers released. Since you didn't specify WHICH trailer you were talking about, there's absolutely no way to figure it out. Why don't you go try and figure out which trailer it was (IE, go to the matrix.com and view the trailers and get its name) and then maybe we can help you out.

Otherwise, "What song was playing at the WB logo" is just like asking "What's that song by that dude with that cool beat?"

the reason i didn't go into absolute detail is because i had already asked it in another thread where i went into absolute detail

The music for the credits of the game is good, and the credit music on the Animatrix.
Nothing could ever hope to beat the lobby scene though, not any music, not any scene from any film.

The Rob Dougan stuff did sound very similar to Clubbed to Death, but why change a winning formula?

I reckon the sound track was pretty good, and if you're watching the action on screen (rave scene excluded) then the music is in the background, and you don't concentrate all that much on it, and the general sound of the music bits did add to the film for me, without being overpowering.

i didn't think the music in the action scenes matched up very well

but the soundtrack from the first matrix during the big gun fight in the lobby was pretty sweet

Propellerheads Spybreak !!!!! Cranking up the volume Right now!
