Why does the left want everyone to be bottom-feeding lowlife trash?

It seems that all of the social programs that lefties love to tout just keep the underclass in their place. And that place is in the pockets of the Democratic party.

The place Republicans want for them is starving, uneducated, and homeless.
Did I mention lacking health care?

I see what you did there, and I approve. Should be amusing.

The liberal social experiment is a self perpetuating cycle of government dependence, giving them both a platform, and a demographic to sell it to.

The liberal social experiment is what took this country from a depressed free market failure to a global economic and geopolitical superpower. The conservative social experiment is taking it all the way back to a depressed free market failure.

The Repub provide jobs and the opportunity to grow or increase your wealth. Stand/Fail on your own sweat.

The Dems provide handouts and want to prevent you from increasing your wealth.

Who creates more jobs, the big business or small businesses. Which do the Dems favor; not the small businesses.

See how idiotic both sides can sound, even when there is a shread of truth is what all say.

In other words conservatives are only good at getting in the way. Well, it takes all levels of the gene pool I guess.

Handouts did not prevent me from increasing my wealth. I got federal financial aid handout to go to college, and am now a gainfully employed tax payer working in the tech field, and have long more than paid back what I got and then some. It's a win win for everyone.
Now if short sighted Republicans got their way, having no money to pay for college, I would have gone to work straight out of high school.
Instead of focusing on learning and reaching my full potential, I would stand/fail on my own sweat working low wage jobs well below my potential, maybe eventually scraping up enough to go part time to a community college, or maybe not. It would probably take me 10+ years to get to the point in my career that government handout funded college education got me to in 4 years. That would be lost productive potential in the economy that Republicans are perfectly happy to throw out to keep true to their ideology.

Interesting. Now present your case so we may discuss it.

I think I made it pretty cut and dry. Social programs do not help lift the have-nots out of poverty, it keeps them in their place. And their place is to vote (D)

It's awesome if you are the top 2%! For everyone else notsomuch.

Haha. What bullshit.

I see people who are not in the "Top 2 percent" driving around in SUV's, talking on smartphones with their $100/mo plans. Then they go home to their HD DVR's and Xboxs.

What is your definition of poor?

I guess being poor in America means you only have the iPad1, not the Ipad2.
