Why does John Boehner cry so much?

He cries in the House. He cries on election night. He even cried yesterday on 60 Minutes. It really isn't appropriate for a leader, especially a man, to cry this often (even in public). It's a sign of weakness. The House Republicans should replace him ASAP.

He cries because he had a bad experience with a tanning lotion product at one time.

Or maybe he's crying because he's afraid that evil socialism will destroy the United States and the tears prevent him from seeing that free market dogmatism and its exposure of the U.S. to global labor arbitrage is slowly transforming the nation into an impoverished third world country and that real socialized medicine has proven to be superior to the U.S.'s current system.

Maybe he has a conscience? Seems the tears are more for show - same as Glenn Beck.

Although I do believe he should be replaced, this "sign of weakness" reason is crap. Replace him because he is an intellectual lightweight giving conservatives a bad name. William Buckley he is not by any stretch of the imagination. Give me a politician that 'looks weak' but knows wtf they are doing over an imbecile that shows strength anyday.

That's a falese choice. There are plenty of competent Republicans that don't cry a river every other hour.

Every time I see Boehner cry, the only thing I see is $$$$ signs running down his cheeks. It's what the whole ideology and agenda of the party he is a member of is all about.

What will Iran and North Korea think? They must surely see this as a sign of weakness! They will be sure to stir up trouble now, seeing how weakened the US is.

Prepare yourselves for the approaching apocalypse!

You guys really are a sad bunch. So Boehner shows so emotion. Oh teh noes!

He's certainly a better speaker of the house than the witch currently occupying that position, so it's a step up. That's not saying much though, Chairman Mao would be a step up from Pelosi.

Wow. She must be doing something right to get such a response as this.

Is Mao the new 'nazi/hitler' reference ?

I wish that were true. Competent Republican intellectuals are a dying breed that may already be extinct. As a former Conservative, I really do hope that there are a few of them still around.

Hyperbole much? An analytical comparison of the positions and deeds of Mao and Pelosi would show that you are pretty far off base about Pelosi - if you were being serious. There should be an addendum to Godwin's Law about Mao/Stalin comparisons.

Well its kinda Duh like obvious, why does Boehner cry so much? He is a crybaby, that is why.

Now fossilized into a life's lesson, if he just cries hard enough, other people will give him what he does not deserve. If it did not work with Tom Delay, why should we be fooled?

It wouldn't bother you if you weren't scared shitless of what YOU are feeling.

It's actually a sing of enormous strength and the fact that he's not yet totally emotionally dead.

People cry because they are pulled apart by competing emotions, like winning and feeling like they are the worst in the world. The good news triggers the feeling they don't deserve it so you get what are called tears of joy.

The truly emotionally dead, of course, just feel smug.

The American, he-man, silent suffering rock, is a mental disease that is killing the country. Please shut up with this shit about weakness. It is you who is sick, not he, not he so completely anyway. Get a therapist and find the loving Mother, Wife, Friend, Feminine Nature, you have buried inside yourself in a tomb of grief. Without her at your side you will never be your own friend.

Sure didn't see the witch crying.

Your hero has no business being in the position.

He should resign immediately.
