There are quite a few sites and types of sites that have made Google their biatch for quite a while. More power to bing if they can capitalize on it.
 
Use an academic search engine. You shouldn't be using anything but academic journal articles and books anyway.

Right. You know why it worked for apple? Because they're geniuses at marketing to morons, which was the point to begin with.

You are confusing Bose for Apple.

Bose = marketing the cheapest made speakers on the planet for overly high amounts of money.

Apple = creating a new user interface that has not been topped, at least commercially.

Full of wrong. My 400GB+ lossless music library has no problem with iTunes. I agree that it's bloated and slow, but if you have a reasonably recent machine, it's problem free. As far as DRM goes, the iTunes Store is only for people who can tolerate unacceptably low-quality music files. Buy the CD= no DRM.

Thanks, that is helpful. I did recently discover www.wolframalpha.com but while it does really cool searches for birth dates or weather I cannot get it to help me with accounting terminology but it is not even beta yet. I will seek out new academic search engines.
