Why does Fage not want me to stir my yogurt

Suggestion: Please Do Not Stir. It is printed on the cup right next to the statement to keep refrigerated.

It's the Total 0% with the fruit in the side cup. I always scoop the fruit out and stir it in with the yogurt. I can't eat it any other way. Plain greek yogurt is pretty nasty.

I bought an oikos cup to try it out. Got home last night and I can't find it. It's probably in the back of my car still. Too cold to run out the office and get it.

Fixed that for you. The full fat stuff tastes great.

^^^THIS!!

I first had full fat yogurt an embarrassingly short while ago, and I have a hard time eating anything else now. My preferred brand/style is Cabot plain, and I mix a bit of honey in it. There's nothing better.

Oikos is pretty bad. It's like Yoplait's answer to Greek yogurt. Try Chobani.

keep stirring until it becomes a smoothie

I do that if I'm running late for work and want something to snack on in the car. Grab a yogurt and shake the hell out of it, it will quickly turned into a smoothie consistency. Then I can drink it without the need for a spoon.

This stuff...

Or this stuff (not quite as thick)...

So good.

They do not want you to stir it because it might make the stench of it reach your nose which may cause nausea. At least that's how I feel whenever I smell any sort of yogurt...

Yeah, Chobani is about as good as it gets with Greek yoghurt.

really? I like the Oikos better than chobani. Chobani just has a strange pasty taste to it that I can't get over whereas Oikos feels smoother and less like I'm eating liquid goat cheese.

Fage is pretty good (probably because its 2% instead of 0) but I like to use the plain flavor to make sauces instead of eating it straight.

I tried the Oikos Blueberry Greek Yogurt. One spoonfull and it was rinsed down the sink.

I'll stick with regular yogurt until I warm up to greek.

Liberté Méditerranée yogurt. Made with whole milk and cream, sugar, some manner of fruit, and, oddly enough, nonfat milk.
Good stuff.
