I call BS - in actual application, not in technicalities. Mixed drinks or shots will get you fscked up soooooo much quicker than beer. In one mixed drink you could easily put in three to four shots of some pretty hard stuff and still have it palatable enough to drink down in a few minutes. You simply can not do this as easily with beer. Short of shotgunning or beer bonging which is neither fun nor that tasty, you can not get yourself hammered as fast with beer.

Sure, but that is increasign the rate and or amont drunk.
The same amount of alcohol in beer, liquor, or wine, will have the same effect no matter what order or combination you drink it in.
Technically, carbonation can increase the absorbtion rate, but not by a whole lot.

It's also like 1/10 the volume! There is nothing magical in vodka alcohol than beer; any arguments about carbonation and what not aside 25 ml of alcohol in the form of however much vodka that requires and 25ml from beer in the form of how much that requires will hit you the same.Originally posted by: Anubis

What we are saying is that as a delivery method, hard alcohol in the form of a stiff mixed drink or a shot is much easier to consume quickly than beer. And thus, gets you messed up much quicker.
