I now live in hybrid-petrol retardia now thought (california) so i doubt I'll ever see one of those here. Seriously though, my friend has a Prius hybrid and that car is crap, actualy gets 35mpg tops and is terribly slow, handles like a minibus.

In the EU ther are alot of cars that do better per liter and run circles around a Prius. There are alot of Diesels being sold overseas now that are pretty quick and its a far more plausbile to use bio fuels in (cooking oil>methonol). I didnt care too much for my only diesel though, 1980 mercedes 240D, was soo slow but it got 500k miles out of its first engine and ran pretty clean, did about 30-35mpg (If you see an old mercedes diesel smoking that means the owner has not opened the hood in a few years most likely)
