Why does 3 days of not drinking equal 3 Nights of nightmares?

I'm literally exhausted everytime I wake up...even though I'm not waking up every hour to piss in a garbage can?

last nightmare I had I was winning a million dollars if I could bungee jump with a noose around my neck...i woke up shortly after.

it didn't feel popular to me at the time...i've always experienced nightmares like it was real..my entire life.

Usually laying off smoking results in crazy dreams or more accurately just remembering them, but not sure about the beers only.

Drink more water, no idea if it will help, but it can't hurt. It may break up your sleep enough to not get too deep into dreaming mode as well since you'll keep having to go pee.

If I ever have "nightmares" it usually involves killing zombies or running from wolves. I had this one wolf dream where I ran into a house nestled in the woods, and as I ran past the kitchen to lock the other door there, a wolf was standing on his hind legs tapping at the door.

In one of my zombie dreams I was at my dad's ranch and a zombie was driving a pickup truck. LMAO!

Why would you want to quit drinking? I get cranky too when the blood level gets too high in my alcohol stream. What happened, your nephew drink all your booze or just steal your money so you can't afford any?

Alcohol is actually a terrible drug. When your liver processes it, it turns into acetylhyde which is actually what does alot of the damage. Its what causes hangovers, its the poison still flowing through your blood when all the fun is done. At the same time the alcohol rewires your brain and destroys parts of it.

Now if I could just stop drinking for good, I get the same dreams when I try. Its actually my favorite part, I don't really have nightmares. My dreams are entertaining to me. Its the waking up covered in sweat not able to get back to sleep I hate.

Good thing I stopped drinking a lot of alcohol. Any time I drink is when I'm at a restaurant. Even then not so often. In my twenties I would drink Morgan and Jack straight out of the bottle and play GTA Vice City or sit on the front porch sipping Jack and listening to music on my CD player.

On New Years eve 2005 I was depressed. I believe it was a Friday and I woke up without eating and sat at my desk drinking Jack and Captain Morgan. I drank the whole fifth of Jack and half a fifth of Morgan. Then the nausea came. I puked my ass off until I had nothing to puke but bile. I yelled at my mom to take me to the hospital because I thought I had alcohol poisoning. Apparently I didn't and got an IV of fluids that I sucked down that contained something for the nausea which helped greatly. About 2 hours latter I went home and ate dinner and went to bed. Next morning I went to work. LOL! I never had a hang over. I have never gotten hang overs actually.

I'm not one for beer though. I like hard liquor. Jack Daniels is my drink anymore. Hard to believe I can still drink it after that incident all those years ago.
