Why do you have to say "Hi" every single freakin time you see me?!!

i kind of see where you are coming from, i hate being asked "how are you", which happens everytime i go to my part time job once a week, everytime i just say "good" and that is that.

But there is nothing wrong with saying Hi when you see each other, it's just courtesy. When i go to college, if i came in the room and me and my roomate just blanked each other, it'd be uncomfortable IMO, if you have to live with one another, then you want a pleasent atmosphere.
 
simple solution: if you are anti-social, then do everything you can to avoid situations that make you uncomfortable.

why? because within reason, you cannot expect people to do what you want them to. if you don't want people to say "hi" or "how was class?", then don't hang around them.
 
Man, have you seen the other roommate complaining threads on ATOT? You should be happy that that is all your roommate does.

But I agree with you, whenever people ask me how I am, how was my day, etc. I almost ALWAYS reply with "fine". and they get pissed cuz I always answer the same thing. Oh well.

Me and my roommates say hi to each other and what's up. No big deal. Just answer and go in your room if you don't wanna talk. If you are gonna live with someone though, I think the least you can do is try to be friendly with them...or your problems could be a LOT worse. There are worst things to worry about in life doncha think?
 
Yes, I also hate when people ask how my day went. If I want you to know how my day went, I'll tell you! I feel your pain, Gr1mL0cK.
 
Whenever he asks "how was class," don't say anything, just BITE HIS FACE!

As for me, my roomates are going to hear about my shitty day whether they ask or not! (every day is a shitty day for me)

Wow this thing is still going?

Everyone has the assumption that we don't get along or we have troubles. In fact, we get along jsut fine and we do interact on a normal basis. As for me personally, I just don't like frivolous small talk that has no intention of going anywhere. What the purpose of saying "Hi" multiple times a day? Did somethign change all of a sudden?

As for you spankyOO7, you should learn how to attack the argument rather than the person. I don't see you were having a conversation in any of your posts but rather attacking me personally.
