Intellectual does not mean someone who uses their mind for good. Intellectual, at least the way I am using it, in the context of intellectual eliteism, is someone who gains power through their mind. And how does this contradict the benefit of being a leech?

It is some work, but it is not hard work. Further, over the course of time, the eventual result is that the smartest people will be the most sucessfull leeches. And this means the smartest people have the power, and this means all is as it should be.
