College is not just a place you go to learn hard facts in an academic setting. It's a place to learn about yourself, and others, and a lot of people do that by drinking every weekend and having interesting social lives (i.e. sleeping around). It's only natural to want to talk about it every chance you get.

Seriously though, there will always be some people talking during a class. You are not the first person to get annoyed by people talking, nor will you be the last. But you just have to deal with it. They probably aren't doing it to be mean or inconsiderate, they just talk because it seems like a good idea at the time. I try to pay attention in class, but more often than not I get bored (being a full-time student has a tendency to get BORING) and have a little chitchat .

Sounds like an intro psych class. Man I hated taking all those damned electives. When you get into all your engineering classes those people will disappear. If you're majoring in anything else, good luck.

I agree, those people are worthless. About the only thing they're good for is spreading diseases. I mean WTF come to class? Just stay at the whorrority whouse and get drunk and fvcked.
