I put my username after posts mainly because when I'm reading a thread, I don't even bother to look at the avatar/username when I am reading, so I don't expect anyone else to, thereby making people see who posted what they just read.

Plus I have always done it in forums, it's just habbit now, I find my fingers just automatically doing it!
