Why do people hate the USA??

That would be like claiming the brits own all cars and planes in this world because we invented the internal combustion engine and jet engine. The internet is owned by all the countries who own the computers which are internetworked.

Canada isnt ruled by the queen and yes I did need to read better. My bad I appologize. Although as polite as you Americans seem people just hate Bush and I know only 51% or so voted for him he brings your global respectablity down alot which is why people hate you.

Health care is great, social structure is wonderful, only crappy jobs are outsourced, we have an endless supplly of oil but use others and I like the fact that we can kick anybody's butt in a heartbeat.

Yes, Bush causes anti-Americanism, but anti-Americanism will still be alive without Bush.

The US is in the news more than Canada, and being a superpower, the US abuses its power more than a country like Canada. You won't hear much about Canada torturing Somalians or Canada funding genocides like they did in Sudan, but you'll hear about the actions of the US. The US also has the problem of being very dominant economically, politically, militarily, culturally, etc. that it annoys many people.

I would say that more countries hate the US than Canada, but also that more countries love the US than Canada (more so when Bush will be gone). I would be willing to think that most people just don't think of Canada when thinking about international relations.
