According to the manifest destiny, God gave Americans the right to colonise America, it was their duty to go and kill the Mexicans/Indians etc, so they did.
Americans believed it was their mission to kill people.
Makes my think about what would happen if Lieberman was elected President, what would all of those nations that hate Israel do? (not saying I'm really for him or against him, just a thought)

Seriously now, a lot of hate comes from people believing jews have a lot of money, are stingy with it and are quite good at getting more money with their money. Think of it for a second, when was the last time you saw a jewish person collecting welfare? Not every jewish person I know is well off, but many are all educated (many professional Dr's, lawyers) and come from a family of wealth, knowing many other families of wealth. Once you start with wealth and education, you strive for the same for your children, so they, in turn, grow up with the same.
The other part of people hating jewish people comes from them controlling a lot of media (TV, radio, etc). This stereotype comes from some arabs from the mideast. They believe that because the jews control all the US media, the US people will never see what is happening to the Palestinian people (which jewish owned/operated station would show what Israeli's killing Arabs).
I've never come across a jewish person that I've hated (not to say there aren't some out there I wouldn't hate), so they are no different to me. I do, however, know of someone, dealing with a jewish businessman that had numerous hassles of collecting money after services were paid for. I'm sure this doesn't summarize all jewish business people, but I think its worth a mention.

Jewish people originally earned their bad reputation in Europe because they weren't christian and, as time passed, this became critically important. The Catholic Church banned collecting interest on money as "heretical". This, however, didn't apply to the Jews (obviously). They started money-lending companies, banks, and other financial institutions, giving them great wealth. People resented them because they forced everyone to pay up and were often considered 'stingy' with high interest rates and small amounts of time to pay it off. Eventually, this lead to the hatred we saw in World War II.

That's a good one! Have you ever seen how that media portrays Arabs? If they tried that some level of stereotyping for Jews, they'd be rightfully blasted for their anti-semitism. They have some grounds for being a bit paranoid.
Europeans have hated Jews for a long time...didn't France just hand over their Jews to Hitler, no questions asked? Eastern European Jews got the shaft from Stalin too. As to why, its because they were a closed off community that had lots of money and they were blamed as the ones who "killed" jesus.
