The US hates Jews? Pull the other one. Israel is supported by the USA, it's the homeland of the Jews, created on land that should be the Palestinians. If the US hates Jews so much, then why is the US the country that's giving the most support to Israel in its efforts to establish a country in someone elses land?

The Palistinians have little claim to Israel. Historically, they have only recent claim to the land. You must consider the history first. Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people, and has been for many thousands of years.
SO according to your skewed logic the ancestors of the Indians who lived on the land where my house is located have more of a claim to it than I do? Yeah right!

Sure, if you build a house of worship on top of their most sacred shrine, I'd say yes. But that is not the case now is it?
What kind of bullsh!t rebuttal is that? The whole of Isreal is a shrine?

Actually, yes. The Indians do have the claim/right to the land. Unfortunately, history is written by the winners. So while the American sprawl across the US, taking land away from the Indians, is considered progress; we vehemently go after those that try to extend their borders in this day and age.

The Arabs are trying to use "diplomacy" to get territory that they couldn't get militarily. If you try to take land militarily and fail, it's over, you lose the land. You can't have it both ways. The time for diplomacy is before the war, not after.

Wrong. There is good evidence that European jews have their roots in Khazar Russia, not Israel, due to a mass religious conversion between 600-800AD. I still wonder if anyone has conducted DNA testing of jewish remains of the pre and early Christian era with those of modern Israelis?

well, you're generalizing, I'm talking specifically about the Temple. But you're rebuttal is a bit skewed, since all of palistine was not and never was drawn up to be Israel proper. Look at a map.

You are wrong, Indians already have their own land, it's called India!

Every group has someone somewhere that hates them. It could be envy, ignorance or upbringing.

Correct me if I am wrong..God promised the land in what is today Israel, to Abraham's son...
Back in those days, right of successorship went to the first born son....therefore shouldn't Abraham's first born son with Hagar, Ishmael, have all the right to the land and therefore the Palestinians own the land and the Israeli's are trespassing...

Nope, the Jewish and Christian Holy book says nope...God said to get rid of Hagar and Ishmael and to give it to Isaac instead...

What if my Holy Book declared that God gave me the land between Canada and Mexico? Can I drive you out?

Historically, a lot of Europeans don't have claim to the lands they currently occupy. Same with much of the world. You have to deal with conditions as they are today.

Maybe its because they way they act.

I have several friends from the midwest who are Jewish and they are very nice and down to earth. East coast Jews on the other hand are some of the most arrogant people I have ever met. I think that people really hate the arrogance and elitist attitude. I know that I sure do. I also know that not all Jews act this way as well. Just mainly the ones from the East Coast. I think they create a lot of their own problems.

The longer people debate over "historical claim", the longer this will go on. The Israelis are there, and they're not leaving. The sooner the Palestinians (and the rest of the Arab world) wrap their heads around that idea, the sooner the whole region can take some steps towards some kind of progress.

Though I suspect the growth in "anti-semitism" has a lot to do with the actions of Israelis regarding the Palestinians.

Well I can assure you that if we remove all the Alabamans from that state and moved in American Indians there'd be some suicide Manure bombs going off in Birmingham!

Sure, if you build a house of worship on top of their most sacred shrine, I'd say yes. But that is not the case now is it?

The earth was the mother of the Indians, to them it was sacred, they wouldn't plough the ground because of this, so yes, your hous is on a sacred Indian shrine pretty much.
The Arabs also have a claim to the land we now call Israel. There were 2 sons of Arbraham, the Palestinians (Muslims) are descended from one, the Jews (Israeli's) from the other, meaning they have equal claim. Also factor in that Jerusalem is important in both of their religions and any kind of religious argument becomes of little consequence. The Jews were kicked out around 135AD, when we had empires, and no "proper" diplomacy like we have now. The land of Palestine was taken and given to Israel by countries we call part of the "developed" world.

Go figure who should really be there. Both have religious ground, or historical grounds, whichever you want to call it, I believe that the Palestinians are the ones who should be there and should be getting the support to control the land.
