I was sitting in traffic on my way to work today and saw a G35 coupe and noticed it had some additional badging and when I looked closed I saw it said Skyline, sure it is buddy! So I did what any respectable ATOT'er would, I took a pic and am posting about it.

I believe the G35 is a skyline in Japan.

Maybe he couldnt find the emblems for 350GT? His Skyline emblem is plausible compared to other cars that slap Type R and GTR stickers all over their car.
 
Wow. I just glanced over the pic and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Guess I mentally saw "Infiniti" instead of "Skyline". I had to re-open the pic and actually read the letters to finally see it. Not fooling anyone.

I have the exact same car with the same rims, except no stupid Skyline crap. Why did he/she ruin the car? 🙁
 
Next year or so the Skyline will be available in the US, base price is around 60-70K. I do believe there is a bit of a difference between the G35 and the Skyline. If you have never driven one, it's simply not the same car. Even the Fairlady Z is no match for the Skyline.

This is my point, the skyline is supposed to be some worked beast of a car stock but only available overseas, I realize that all of you saying "whats the big deal, it's the same car?" are saying that on the looks but as far as the engine and performance goes this is not the case, would be like saying a Stock Corvette is the same exact thing as a Z06 or something to that effect.

Where's NFS4 at? I'm sure he'd be able to quickly confirm or disprove this.

Yes, G35 is neutered version of Skyline. In 2007, the "real" Skyline will arrive in the US.
 
Basically add AWD a tweaked high output engine with twin turbo's and a perfomance suspention to the G35 and you are close to what the Skyline brings. It's kind of sad that the Fairlaidy Z and the Skyline have kind of merged over the years. And where is NSF4 at when we need him?
