I'm Hindu, but every year, my family celebrates it to an extent with family get togethers, and the exchanging of gifts, and of course the decorations.
It's kinda hard to avoid it in the U.S., especially when the whole Christmas thing is shoved down your throat since Kindergarten. In class, during this time of year, there'll be Christmas stories, and activities and what not, and the kids will be bragging about what they will get and the things they'll do, so any decent parent will just play along so their kid won't feel left out, even if they're not christian, and get their kids presents and do other Christmas crap.
My own family has stopped with the decorations (tree, lights, etc.) since highschool, but I still expect gifts every year.
