Actually that's not true. The only time he gets appearance money for touraments is when he does stuff outside of the PGA tour like the Dubai Classic and such. If he doesn't make the cut in a PGA tournament, he goes home empty-handed just like the next guy.

He wanted to win. Be the first to win 3 Masters back to back. Only 2 other people in this historyof Golf have had the chance to win 3 back to back. If he does it will be amazing now since he didn't win this time......

His name would be forever written in the Golfing history books. I think he would have wanted this. It will be a long time for someone to win 3 Masters in a row.....

I was just pointing out that he doesn't usually get appearance money. He always wants to win. If he's out there, he's trying to win. You won't ever see him collecting appearance money and splitting on Friday.

They're obviously not paying him enough since he's been the #1 ranked player in the world for serveral years.
