That was Judas. He betrayed Jesus for money. He hung himself when he realized how bad he messed up. The dead cow was imagery of Satan toying with Judas.

What Bible have you been reading. There's a new version out and I suggest you get it. It's called Harry Potter.

But the vision Jacob had of the unclean animals being lifted in the white sheet came before Christ's time in the New Testament, right? So weren't cloven-hoofed animals considered "okay" by then?

Nope. Only Old Testament IIRC.

Jacob didn't have that vision, Peter did.

Nope. Only Old Testament IIRC.

They don't believe that Christ was the son of god and died to save you from your sins. They're still waiting for their saviour to show up and die on the cross and save them from their sins.

I have no idea what CCD is. Yes, Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God, and died on the cross to forgive them of their sins. It is well known that (most) Jews do not believe that Jesus was the son of God, therefore, it doesn't matter why he died to them, because they do not see Him as their messiah.

I am stretching myself on these comments, so if someone else knows more about the subject, here's your chance to butt in ;)

And where does Science come in and disproove all of this nonsence?
