Man, I just can't imagine where there would be enough space in the state for wind power. Seriously, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming have massive open areas, plenty of wind. Hugh farms are already all over Central Eastern Washington. Also, Microsoft has huge data farms out there also. Data farms barely dent employment though.Witness the collapse of Wyoming's coal industry which now threatens state revenue as the royalties dry up. They should have been encouraging wind development for the last decade but instead they decided to tax wind power per MWh which their neighbors do not. Result was projects and $$$$$ went elsewhere.
