There were no dinosaurs. God is just testing us. The Earth is only 6000 years old. When God made the Earth, he was all "tee hee, this will really fuck them up! This will really test their faith. heh heh heh." Why else do you think it took Someone all powerful an entire day to make just one planet, then the rest of the universe in another day?

But wait...humans and dinosaurs lived together. I done seen it on the teevee!

Easy. So that the first guy that ever ran across a dinosaur fossil could stand there and go, "WTF?!?!? What is THAT thing???" :hmm:

I dare Mother Nature to create more dinosaurs. We'd shoot them down to extinction pretty quickly. Horray for technology.

Belief in Mother Nature is heresy incompatible with proper Christian doctrine, and it must be stamped out. Please report to your local Inquisition facility for summary judgment and immediate execution. Thank you, and may God in all his forgiveness have mercy on your soul.

The real question is: Why did mobo nature get rid of the dinos?

The answer? Because all they ever did was sound like vuvuzelas. Remind you of anyone?

Uhh, there was more carbon in the atmosphere, not oxygen. The higher levels of carbon promoted enormous vegetation, which promoted huge animals.

You guys have it mixed up.

This subject is the source of much debate and is hardly worked out. Prior to the Cambrian period there was a mass-extinction event, which may have been due to increased levels of methane from undersea ice. It could be this enormous influx of carbon which provided the many new life forms to thrive. Then again, it could have been the buildup of oxygen from billions of years of photosynthesizers which allowed the explosion of new and larger life forms.

2-3 more degrees of climate warm up and we may know the answer firsthand.

Mother Nature created huge dinosaurs to give people something to ride when people were eventually created.

However when people were created, they didn't like the colors dinosaurs came in, so Mother Nature killed off the dinosaurs and invented german engineers, who then invented Porsche Red. That's why Porsche's still exist but the dinosaurs don't.

Jesus was like, "Sup, bitch! Make me some giant lizards!" And she was all, "Whatever." It's in the Bible. Look it up.

Seemed like a good idea at the time. :)

Seriously, that's how evolution works: piling changes that aren't (very) harmful, one on another. The ones that seem like good ideas at the time survive and spread the apparently good idea.

I wish dinosaurs were still real. Would love to see one up close even if it is a mean one. Worth it.

God created the dinosaurs 4000 years ago, 2000 years after the creation of the earth. Jesus used to ride the dinosaurs to work. But, then there was like, a car wreck or something, and Jesus was nailed to a cross for his bad driving. The dinosaurs all committed suicide in a display of solidarity. Everyone knows this?
