Speed seems ok.
Looks like the cartoon version of anandtech forums.
This version is proof of concept, right?

Give love a chance ppl...fusetalk is broken...
Change scares me. I don't like change. It's nice, cozy and warm here.
Me too. I must really be a republican.
this seems to be a large database import test. def. not the final product by a good margin.
Who are you and why are you cheerleading this?
Who are you?
Why attempt to belittle me?
I've been a member of these forums for 9 years. I've seen the ups and downs of the community. I am not cheerleading any effort other than realizing that things are going to change and that if we don't want it to be a complete cluster fuck that we need to test the new software and identify issues...
but if you want a cheer, I got one for you...
RAH RAH RAH...Screw off.
I wasn't trying to belittle you. Well, maybe just a little... You're sounding like somebody from hr/pr - or - acting like an owner and i don't remember seeing one of your posts. I thought maybe you had something to do with developing the new stuff.
I can see now that you're a serious person and not be taken lightly. Nice to meet you.
Perhaps my cheer was a bit harsh...
Good to meet you to man.
Don't get me wrong, I know how to have a good time

. I want this to be a smooth transition, unfortunately it doesn't look like it won't be without some large speed bumps but if we drive the road expecting them I think we will all be better off.
On a completely unrelated issue, I don't understand why people would leave a community because of the software it ran on unless that software was so broken that it made it impossible to interact with each other.
I come to a community because of the
PEOPLE. I enjoy the people here. They are willing to help and answer just about any question you can throw at them. Generally funny along the way. Sure Off Topic has its share of assholes (me being one of them every once in a while

) Its still a fun place.
Although fusetalk is 'pretty' (cheers to the people who designed the layout) the underlying issues outweigh the benefits. Vb is also very extensible and can be customized extensively.
PS: If I had a job in HR a company would collapse and if I had a Job in PR they'd probably end up with some bad press before they collapsed...
