Why aren't people watching TWENTY-FOUR (24)?!?

I just saw the third episode tonight, thanks to Fox's encore presentation. WOW. WOW. WOW.

This show is absolutely gripping -- I haven't seen anything like it before. I HIGHLY recommend seeing it. Unfortunately, from what I've read, people AREN'T seeing it. The ratings have been disappointing, which is just a shame. :|🙁

If you computer geeks are fans of stuff like Metal Gear Solid/Spy Game/The Rock/Other Spy Stuff, etc... you have NO excuse not to see 24, IMHO.

I won't watch it due to moral objections, they so stole my idea. Like a year ago, I said how cool would it be if they did a show that was like an hour long, and for every hour in the show it actually represented an hour in this real life fantasy world, so a season of this should would span 1 day in the show's world.

Then I was like, hey, I could really go for some fried chicken and forgot about it.

I checked out hour 3 earlier this week. It was ok. But Ill probably watch it again. They get kudos for the idea, personally ive never heard of a show quite like it.

I think the show is really good. I caught the encore presentation of the 1st episode, and have watched the rest of them. I have recommended others to watch it.
 
So what's the thing with this show -- All of the characters are going to be awake for 24 straight hours? C'mon now.

But the show is interesting.

And the guys are holding his daughter for leverage, right?

I don't know of another TV show that takes place in "real time" but there is a movie w/Jonnie Depp and Christopher Walken called "Nick of Time" that takes place in real time. Not a great movie, but pretty good.

There is only one small problem with this show's concept: If you miss the first several episodes(like me),I would think that you would kinda be in the dark as to what is going on with the characters and plot. I know that you could record it,but what if you have no memory(like me ) and forget to even tape it? Just a thought.


P.S They could do a 24- 24hr marathon on FX when its all over and then you could watch it from start to finish

yeah, 24 hrs of TV watching. Like you said though, i've missed all the episodes so far, so watching it now would probably be confusing for me.
 
It's not bad but frankly I can't be bothered to watch ANY show that requires me to tune in every week; thus such shows never get my attention. I watched the first and it was good but I am just not interested in tuning into the same time every week for anything.
 
I watch simply because the daughter is f'in HOT HOT!!~!~!~!!

Too bad in the show, she's supposed to 17. Hey! Get these handcuffs off of me! :Q
 
I saw the first one and it was amazing, unfortunately I work during the times when it is on so I havent been able to watch it :/

Ill have to look up the encore stuff and see if I have that day/time off or look into a tivo...

Hahah that's what I was thinking 😉

I find the show kinda depressing...

But it's a neat idea, and it's got lots of action in it, I'll probably continue watching it.
 
OK, no has really explained what is so neat about the show yet. I have never seen it, so I have no clue what the concept is.
