Crime is just one aspect. Mexico has high levels of pollution, poverty, and a general lower quality of life. You could relocate to some of the more richer neighborhoods if you are financially secure already. The financial divide in Mexico is far greater compared to the US.

Assuming Mexico was the same as Canada aside from climate, I'd pick Canada in a second. Not being third world is icing on the cake.

dont forget these are primarily democrats saying this. Canada is a relative fun-time theme-park of socialism and liberalism compared to any space in the USA.

It's also the only first world country in North America now.

Well, the Mexicans have never amounted to much. They have nothing to offer but poverty. What makes a country a great place to live is the character of the people. If the people are of good character, prosperity will creep up on them. I really wish they were a second Canada, so we wouldn't have to wall them off. Definitely some gorgeous spots down there. Makes it a charming place to visit.

For me, if I was a rich prick Hollywood idiot I'd buy an island. I won't say where.

Canada is too damn cold and socialist and Mexico is a third-world shit hole unless you go to the resort areas, but screw 'em!

I wants me a private island!

Can't stand flies all over the foods in Mexico.

And most Mexicans don't speak English.

The U.S. Department of State warns U.S. citizens about the risk of traveling to certain places in Mexico due to threats to safety and security posed by organized criminal groups in the country. U.S. citizens have been the victims of violent crimes, such as homicide, kidnapping, carjacking, and robbery by organized criminal groups in various Mexican states.

And an American just got killed in Toronto. part of a bachelor party.

You've obviously misplaced your Prosperity Bible: poor people are poor because they are BAD. Rich people are rich because they are GOOD.

We'll be starting to build our own wall soon to keep Americans out. We do not want them here with their eternally fractious politics, neanderthal morality and gun twitchy righteousness.

STFA.

Canadians practice a completely zoned out, could give a F++k attitude of practical indifference . Don't want no foreigners to mess up our constitutional right not to give a crap about anything but hockey.

Because the non-racist and tolerant liberals that wanted inclusiveness in their own country are only interested in places where it's safe...

It's kinda funny seeing it in print, doesn't it?

As a general rule good people behave themselves and treat each other well. They are trustworthy. They make good business partners. Virtue is good for business. Resources help too.

You make no sense. What does wanting inclusiveness and wanting law and order have anything to do with each other. They are two separate positions and one can easily want both at the same time.
