They are all piece of crap as they use the cheapest part you can find.
??? Dell uses Intel motherboards, western digital/ibm harddrives, creative sound cards, samsung/sony cd drives, samsung ram, a top notch cabling system, and a passive cooling device which means very little fan noise.
You're one of the ignorant people here.
they use those on they higher end system. Something like the dimension 2400 is totally crap. I have built several systems.
You, kid, are a dumba5s and have no idea what the hell you're even talking about.
A good friend of mine needed a computer and I convinced her to get a Dell 2400 because she only needed it for surfing, email, and ABC/123 games for her young son to play with. Plus, it would have a warranty in case anything went wrong and she got a GREAT deal on it.
When it came in, I set it up for her and checked it out. It's a P4 2.6 with a Seagate HD, Nanya 512 RAM (which it seems is what every low-end Dell I've been around has and they never had a problem with it), a Samsung CD burner, and a DVD drive (don't remember the brand name). Not to mention, it's so quiet, you can't even tell it's running and it's only a few feet away. She's had it now for about 7 months or so and never had a problem. Rock solid for what she needs it for.
And I don't care how many systems you claim to have built. Flesh was right in saying, "You're one of the ignorant people here."
