You are arguing for the sake of winning an argument (choosing specific topics). So let's talk about the topics you chose:

I clearly said
Obama made Obama the number one gun salesman of all time. Every time he opens his mouth about restrictions people flock to the gun store.

to which you responded

I haven't heard much "restrictions" from the President's mouth, but I do get emails and see ads doing the scare tactic all the time, then I hear the gun nuts repeating the same over and over and over.....

I chose the specific topic from the beginning. And showed Obama did indeed propose restrictions. I dont know how or why you morphed it into taking away guns and then tried to argue with me about that topic.

Restrict guns: What does this even mean? Are they proposing you can only have one gun in your life time? 50 guns in a year? Restriction on guns have different meaning to different people.

I think it is pretty universally understood banning a certain class of anything be it a gun or something else. and having a list of specific models included on that ban is restrictive.

We don't live in a perfect World. Sometimes, it requires negotiation to get things done, the left has dealt their card, but the right refuses to talk. Well, no wonder we may end up with President Donald Trump instead.

I will say this. When taking away rights the people taking them away are the ones that need to show their cards. Literally there is no reason for the right to show any cards on this topic since all they have to do is not pass legislation and keep the status quo(gun rights as is).

Who is taking away your rights? Who is not allowing us to bear arms?

Non-Americans are also fascinated with them, but lack the self-awareness and honesty to admit it.

Unless, I'm wrong and people in foreign countries hate all the action movies we make here full of endless guns and killing? Nope, not wrong.

Second is already severely infringed. There is no reasonable doubt that its intent was originally to ensure citizenry access to military-grade firearms with which to defend against a professional army (hint: first part of the sentence). Now go down to your local store and see if they'll give you a select fire M16.

Women like to own guns for self defense.

I hadn't seen this mentioned yet, in this thread.

Why do some Europeans so fascinated with wines? Or unfunny comics like this? I dunno, could it be different people have different interests and they may not be shared in common with you?

California, New York City, New Jersey....

That's because you assume the 2nd amendment allows us to bear all types of arms without restrictions. Read the 2nd amendment again, even Justice Scalia disagrees with you, and he was a champion at defending the 2nd amendment.

Technically, we can bear arms in every state as we speak, some states just have stupid rules that goes against common sense. Key is to educate the left so we have common sense in gun laws.

All the hissy fits and scare tactic propaganda have negative effects. The gun nuts are going about it all wrong, no better than the crazy liberals who think 10 round magazine will save lives.

I did not assume anything just answered a question. Was my answer to your question incorrect? If so how?

Reread the 2nd amendment again. Found no mention of "common sense" and certainly no definition.

Also, I am not assuming that politicians will display common sense. Mostly I see "knee jerk feel good" responses.

If you will provide what is in your opinion "common sense" restrictions I will read them and respond. Vague "common sense" references is difficult for me to follow. Without a common understanding there cannot be "common sense".

Fascinated? Not here. I like guns and ammo as "tools". I have them because I like how they work. I also like them just in case because I refer have them and never need to use them than not have them and then need them.

Also, in financial sense, guns and ammo are good buys for your money. I have my guns and ammo for several years and their values are going up. Try to do that with electronics, cars, text books, etc.

Did you take social physiology? Because this has a hint of crazy mixed with stupid.

What I like most about your post is that it seems you just lumped all people into one class when that's not true of gun owners at all.

The irony in this post is so fucking thick... akin to the author.
