There's a wow factor on the movies. Even if someone isn't that hot, the fact that they're in the spotlight makes a lot of viewers attracted to them. The best example is Sex and the City's Sarah Jessica Parker. She looks like a horse... But of course, every 20 something woman in america that watched that series wants to be just like her.

From a guy's perspective, if you're watching a movie and there are no other chicks and one happens to show some skin....well, it's better than nothing and you automatically say, "I'd hit it"....even if it isn't the best.

I think you hit the nail on the head, at least as far as I am concerned. She's hot because she looks like someone you might run into somewhere. 'Hot' might be the wrong word. 'Appealing' could be a better one.

Yes you do.
A lot of people here were barely 10 when Leon was released. When I first saw it I was probably a similar age to NP when she was in the film, so there was nothing wrong with thinking she was attractive, and then you grow up and see her in other stuff and retain that attraction 😛
