You should try Schneiderguy's brand nuts. They're free if you buy me a couple of beers and 9/10 women said they would choose them again over the leading competitor's brand.
Nuts are expensive because of the time and expense invested in their growth relative to their yield. Unlike fruits, nuts have less mass and take longer to grow.
due to technological advancements, it should take less money and less time than 10, 20 years ago to grow and distribute them. its all lies
Have you ever seen how cashews are grown?
What technological advancement decreases the time it takes for a nut to grow to maturity? I know of growth hormones for livestock, but I haven't heard of anything in agriculture.
What we do is we leave the trees in a stationary orbit around the sun and when we whip on back around next year we'll find that they've grown faster because the time-dilation effect of our movement made us experience time slower.
A lb of nuts should last a while?
they always were expensive, except for peanuts they must mass produce those things somehow
you should see how they get brazil nuts and pine nuts. Not easy...
You probably know this, but peanuts aren't really a nut. They grow underground, so they're easy to deal with on a large scale.
Have you ever seen how cashews are grown?
I go to Farm and fleet. they sale 5 lb bags for like $4 or so. They are the cheapest place i have seen nuts.
though..a 5lb bag? i don't think i could eat it all before its gone.
OP can have my nuts for free. They are salty, brown and delicious.
