I suspect that's a national phenomena. My favorite is the complete stop that blocks passage, and THEN the turn signal goes on. If it was used appropriately, you wouldn't be stuck behind the mouth breather :^SCount yourself lucky. In Arizona, turn signals are optional.
I've noticed that luxury car manufacturers such as BMW and Lexus has stopped installing turn signals in their cars.
Cars that use break lights as a turn signal are even more annoying to me.
Spelling nazi:
brake...
This has long been a pep peeve of mine. Another thing is when the reverse lights come on when the car is parked. I love this in parking garages when you don't know if someone is about to reverse out of their spot.
Are you talking about when someone puts their car in reverse but just sit there?
Or are you talking about some new feature where their car is in the "P" park position, but their white reverse lights are still on?

Honestly I am so glad you pointed this out. This has to be one of the single dumbest things ever added to a vehicle. Just not a bright idea in any way. I believe it is isolated to GM cars, no big shock there.
I also agree with the OP, amber signals should be the law.
I don't like the new cars that broadcast the signal to the cops letting them know if your seat belt is on and how fast you are going.
Are you serious? Is there such a thing?
Dunno about that seatbelt thing, but some cars have the spoilers that lift automatically at certain speeds.
