You're the one who brought the word smart into the picture. Look at the first post you quoted, he said "too dumb." He was referring to people who said there are no black serial killers because they lack the intelligence to commit their crimes in such a way that they could get away with it long enough to be considered serial killers.

And I'm not sure where you get your definition of smart from.

You know, I've sat and stared at this post for twenty minutes and for the life of me, It has been very hard to come back with an answer that does not insult you.

Seriously, though. You are right, one has little to do with the other. In fact, many experts think they are mutually exclusive. At any rate, "smart" usually means intelligence. "Wise" means common sense or knowledge. However, can we not let this degrade into a debate over what the definition of is, is?
