That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I'm white (the only mix I am is Swedish, English and Dutch), I grew up primarily around other white people, I find white women to be very attractive and I am attracted to some mixed race women. I also find some other races to be very attractive like Asian women for example (I have a thing for Asian women actually 😉 ). I happened to marry an Italian woman (obviously, I find her attractive).

Am I just an exception to the rule? A freak of nature?

asian here, i grew up around nonasians... and perfer white girls over asians. though lately i think i caught the asian fetish. LOL

All white people are mixed. All of our ancestors were dirty prostitutes.

I'm Irish, German, English, Czech, Polish, Finnish, Dutch, etc. all rolled into one.

The first four I listed are my grandparent's ethnicities though.
 
Yeah I'm 1/2 White (dad English heritage) and mom is from Japan. No problem getting the ladies, most say I'm "attractive" or "hot" (cuz I bodybuild).
Edit: oh yeah forgot about my sister, most of my friends all want her and joke around about dating her hehe...

Seems somewhat of a hasty generalization to me, because my eyes have certainly laid witness to many aesthetically displeasing people of mixed ethnicity.

mariah carey isn't white/black is she? i remember mtv showed pictures of her parents and both were white, and both were opera singers (i point out the opera sings part because most black kids that i grew up with used the explanation that mariah is black, why do you think she can sing so good?)

about mixed people looking cute/hot, its just two unique factors that make them stand out, hence making you remember them more.
1) being hot/cute
2) being mixed
when you see a mixed person that is average or ugly most wouldn't even bother to wonder if they are mixed, or care to ask them or get to know them. it is just an overgeneralization (all mixed people are cute/hot). people will point out kristin kreuk, etc. but c'mon most actresses have to be hot in order to make it right?

It's all biology. Hybrid offsprings usually inherit the best characteristics of both parents. The resulting offspring would have a larger chance of survival and are usually genetically more robust (read healthier). Think of dogs as an example, a purebred usually has serious health problems due to inbreeding to produce the purebred. Same goes to the law for not marrying relatives, the inbreeding decreaces the genetic robustness of the gene pool. Since beauty is an indication of genetic robustness, it would make sense that people usually find people of mix-race more attractive since the people of mix-race is more genetically robust.

In other words, mix-race = good for humanity.
 
damn, someone beat me to the link heh. anyways, lotsa stars are. its just never talked about😛 even kate beckinsale has a grandfather that was burmese. 🙂 norah jones is half indian. i think sally hemmings was too😉
