too many of the immigrants, specifically mexicans, are criminals that leech off the system with their 100 kids. They make rabbits look tame. And they all have attitude as it is their culture to focus on pride and other useless personal characteristics. Some do come here to work, but the ratio of criminals to hard-wroking immigrants is not worth it. Also letting them cross the border illegally makes them think its okay to disrespect are laws and rules. How do you think they got here in the first place? By being obedient legal, law-abiding immigrants? I don't think so!

One word Christmas...WTF happened here???

When I was growing up, you would hear Christmas songs and see Christmas stuff from after Thanksgiving up to New Year's. You would attend Christmas parties.

Now, because Christmas is so 'offensive' to others who came here, all this sh!t came to an end...someone at a previous job actually complained about the piped in elevator Christmas music that was being played at work (we are talking about Frosty and Rudolph here). Also, for a bazillion years, they were called Christmas parties...Now they have to be called Holiday parties so someone is not offended? that is total BS....

I can't imagine moving into another country and then saying things that they have been doing for decades or longer offend me and then make them change their rules to suit me...

/end of rant....

It is not the immigrants, but the illegals that piss me off.

What are thier children who come here with thier parrents? What becomes of that. I think the biggest problems are not so much with the adults as with the children. Would you deport a child whose been here since the age of 2, 3, 6, or 10 after 10 years? What if this is the only world they've known. This is the biggest injustice

Yes I would deport them. They're illegal, therefore they've gotta go. Make an exception for one person, and it starts a landslide.

The problem is the landslide is already occuring on a daily basis. :|

This topic was on the radio today about civil rights groups lobbying to give the illegal immigrants (mainly mexicans) drivers licenses and healthcare benefits.

This is the most obsurd thing I have ever heard. First they are here ILLEGALLY...so why should my taxes go towards their benefits. Secondly...how are you going to give a illegal immigrant a government issued ID card and let them drive? I mean come on, that is idiotic! This is what I propose...tell the country that all illegals are allowed to sign up for these benefits, then when they show for the paperwork, arrest them and deport. Simple. They have no business in this country illegally, and therefore the only thing they should get is a escort back to their own country. If they want to come here that bad..do it the legal way. This is a country based on laws, so why should the gov't reward them for breaking it? Can I go to mexico and get a drivers license, healthcare and other gov't benefits? Heck no I couldn't, so why should it be any different for them? We need to do something about this problem, because its only going to get worse.

This country is made up of immigrants. It happens every generation. Hell look at the east coast. Italians in the north, spanish in the south. And most of you are generalizing illegal immigrants as all mexicans. Live in a poverty stricken life in a foreign country for a few years and see how it is. Then tell me you won't make a strive to enter a better life whether it be illegal or not. I agree on the fact tho that criminals are criminals and we wouldnt want them in our country. But it's going to happen. It's human nature. Just something to think about...

My wife came to the US from cambodia during the war in the late 70's, early 80's. Her and her family (what was left of them) were kept prisioner in a khmer rouge labor camp for 4 years, and she witnessed a good amount of her surviving family either murdered or worked to death. Her and her family were let go when the camp was liberated and fled across the country to thailand to a red cross camp where they waited for another 2 years just to get put on the list to come to the USA. Then off to the philipines for another year, still waiting to be sponsored to come here. Finally they made it here, and she is right with me in being anti-illegal immigration. There are thousands of people throughout the world who right now are waiting in similar situations as my wifes to come to america and are doing it the LEGAL way, dispite the tremendous amount of suffereing they go through inorder to comply with our laws. Those people who disregard our laws and sneak into the country deserve to be charged and thrown out on their asses. There is a RIGHT way and a WRONG way to approach immigration, and we shouldn't reward those who choose the illegal way while people wait in line for years just to get approval to come the legal way.

Why are Americans so fearful of implants?

I think the more fake boobies that come into this great country the better! Other people don't have the same attitude though. I think the midwest states are not as open to fake boobies as we are here on the east coast. But hopefully that will change as more fake boobies, specifically silicone, start to expand into states that are pretty much saline only.

So I say embrace the next wave of implants because the only implants that are true boobies are made in the U.S.A.

My dad was the first generation of our family born in the U.S. But when his parents came here thier first priority was to learn English. When my grandparents were alive you could not tell by talking to them that they spoke fluent German.

My grandparents then opened up a business to suport themselves. They did not want and did not expect the Government of the United States to provide them with anything. They loved their country and their children went on to serve the United States in both the Navy and other gorvernment entities that I would have to kill all of you if I said the name.

Many immigrants today are not the same. The new immigrants know how to work the system. They have woven in to the political fabric in such a way that in some states there is legislation to give illegal immigrants more rights than U.S. citizens. How messed up is that? yes, we are a nation of immigrants but that does not necessarily mean it is still a good thing.

The OP is a retard for not differentiating between legal and illegal immigrants. Well, they were retarded even before that, but you get the point.

Well, about 10,000 years before the white man did.

I love how people who are so "open" about diversity seem to be the same ones who are all about seeing "the white man" fall. Apparently you can't be part of a "diverse" crowd if you're white.

In other words, "I love diversity, and I hope that diverse crowd kicks out whitey!"

And that's exactly why I won't let the lefties take away my weapons. I may need them someday if we ever have another civil war. I won't register them either.

Oh, and if a minority excels at something and states his pride for his culture, he is congratulated for spreading diversity and empowerment. However, should a white person excel, he symbolizes oppression and should be ashamed of his culture. If he states pride for it, he's a racist.

I'm not against any immigrants, I'm against complainers who want to spread "diversity" by using racist practices such as affirmative action.

:)

because the mexicans normally come here illegally, and then live off of the govt.

Most do jobs that most Americans wouldn't do.

How many young adults are going to look for work as a blueberry picker? Let me think... the answer would be ZERO!
I don't agree with this argument at all ...

Obviously the berries got picked before. So who did it? Young adults.

Although I agree with you I'm not sure about blueberry thing. A lot of crops have traditionally been picked by migrant workers. They used to go home at the end of picking season though.
