Why am i so pathetic when it comes to bugs/spiders :<

srsly, theres this spider smaller than a penny on my wall and I start freaking out and finally plucked up the courage to grab the cover off a dvd stack and tape that evil thing to the wall.. :/

now I dunno what i'll do, maybe wait till it dies.. but at least I can sleep tonight..

so illogical. so pathetic. :<
 
Screw your nutsack on. Once, just once, build up the courage and rage to mash the spider against the wall with your bare hand. If you can do that just once, the rest is all down hill. You'll be king of your castle in no time.
 
Hah, I remember when I was in Georgia cleaning the pool filter by hand once. Pulled out the usual detritus, lawn clippings etc. And ravelled up in the center of this crazy mess were the bodies of a few black widow spiders.
 
Irrational fears are much more common than you think. They can be overcome though. I used to be deathly afraid of bees, but am slowly getting better by helping with the beekeeping around here. Still can't hold a frame full of bees and brood, but getting there.

Never had a huge fear of spiders, but I just remind myself that they kill and eat bugs that piss me off, not people. Well, some can kill people, but they don't eat them.

I used to be scared of spiders. Its not so bad now; I generally just kill them (exspecially the small ones).

I would be scared shitless if I came across Black Widow spiders, whether they were alive or dead.

We also have scorpions and rattlers in the country. The brown recluse spider is the one around here that you probably shouldn't kill with you bare hand.
 
I always grab the nearest object that won't self-destruct after some percussive maintenance, and then smash the spider into oblivion. Yeah.... definitely arachnophobic. I have nightmares and can't sleep some nights because I'm afraid of spiders and snakes. 🙁

Ok, so it's bad enough that the spiders around here spin orb webs over my mailbox, across my front door, between the apartment and my car, and over my side-view mirror.

But this was new: Get in car, only to be treated to a face-full of web. Damn thing spun a giant web right inside the door, and of course it had to be in the driver's seat.

Damn things are hoping for an epic meal.

Even I have limits when it comes to arthropods, especially venomous ones.


 
I sell cockroaches, tarantulas, and scorpions. I can sell you a pet if you'd like. It will cure you of being scared.

I hate small spiders so I just smash them to bits. I don't mind the creepy big ones that most people don't like; tarantulas for example, I have no problem with. It's weird.
