JFK. The country seemed so "together" and "one" back then. Kinda like that brief time after 9/11. But that feeling ended with LBJ. Actually, LBJ probably did more for the common good than any of the others. The war did LBJ in, and the good he did was forgotten.
Carter was one of the best men, but unable to translate that into deeds.
Reagan? Fair actor, poor president. Mistakenly given the credit for what happened in the Soviet Union. The credit is actually a "shared" effort by many many presidents before him. He just happened to be the lucky one serving at the time of the fall.
Reagan, drove this country backwards, back to intolerance of the races. Almost undoing a lot of LBJ's achievements. Reagan, drove a wedge (or allowed one to be driven) between peoples of race, religion and culture. And his damage is still very strong and ongoing today. It was a huge setback for this country, HUGE, and one the country is having a lot of trouble recovering from, still today.
Clinton, created the morphing of Democrats into Republicans. That won him two terms, but is now destroying the Democrat party. He's a good speaker, well liked, but something?s missing. The same Democratic blood that flows thru JFK, LBJ and Carter, is missing in Clinton.
Nixon? I remembering hating Nixon so much back then, but now, I feel sorry for him.
Bush #1 & #2? I wont go there...

Agreed. Reagan, who appeared so right for the country, was so wrong. His economic policies were a disaster and had congress not stepped in to reverse them in his second term we would have paid a heavy price.

It's a pity the current congress does not have the collective balls to stop what many privately feel are failed policies.

wow you comparing Clinton to Washington?

Im not living in the past, just saying that we are in a mess today because of Bill Clinton.

Harrison, because like Clinton he didn't do anything to screw it up. He also died 30 days after taking office. So like Clinton, he was not around enough to screw anything up.

Ronald Reagan. Clinton made a mockery of the US judicial system. He made infidelity, perjury all american values. Great President indeed.

Reagan made a mockery of the US legistlative system. "I do not recall" my a$$, if that were the case, what was he doing in office?
