Ronald Reagan, FDR (for his role in WW2, NOT his social programs) and Abe Lincoln. The Clinton years were good, I don't attribute the prosperity to him, but he didn't screw it up either. Kudows to him for that.

My favorite ex-president was Bohdi. He died surfing that 50 year storm in Australia though. 🙁

I'm all about the morality. And Carter did get stuck with alot of the post vietnam economic effects. To qoute and edit an earlier post "the bad economy pretty much fell into his lap."

It wasn't wartime. The sailors on the USS Cole weren't on wartime alert.
