Actually, I'm far from a racist. Muslims are not a race, it's a religion. There's a lot of muslims setting a bad example for their religion. Christians had the same problem in the Middle Ages. The Christians expunged their radicals or reduced them to irrelevance. I'm waiting on Muslims to clean up their mess as well.
One thing I won't stand for is sitting here trying to tell me that the muslim theology is not to blame for their actions when it is. I don't see any other religion performing the same atrocities over and over again. From suicide bombings to hostage taking, they're the preferred muslim tactics proven over and over again.
If you're going to sit here and try to say it's not a characterstic of muslim radicalism, I have to wonder if you're not just trying to make excuses for it or even condone their actions.

You think I am trying to find a reason to support their actions? You can read all my other threads. I never supported anyone. I only go off on you because you don't know anything about Islam. How do you expect Muslims to get better if you claim it is part of a religion? To rewrite their religion? They do suicide bombings maybe because they are desperate and would die for their country? They do beheadings because of the reaction they get in the media? It has nothing to do with Islam and if you want to believe so then go ahead, but I doubt you ever read a Quran.

I didn't claim it was part of their religion. I said their religion produced it, you can argue that until you're blue in the face but you're wrong. The evidence is only about a mountain range's worth against you.
Whenever Muslim, yes Muslim, fanatics get a bug up their shorts, they take hostages and go on suicide bombings. How can they fix it? They can start by having their moderates start getting proactive and locking these whackos up as well revising their religious indoctrination practices.

Wrong. Sultan is misguided in making excuses for terrorist operations and justifying their action, but I do not see him approving of them. His comparisons between the Iraq War and 9/11 are wrong, but you can not say that the perspective needs to be ignored. Obviously a lot Muslims see the similiarity and if we are to win the war on terror we need to recognize that.
Again, I disagree with the man, he is obviously hurt by what he percieves to be racism towards Muslims and has some misguided ideas.
