I'm not the poorest but I have to make ends meet with a $1001 Ontario Disability Support Programme each month and the $80 GST refund cheque three time a year. At least my income is not taxable.

One exception this year, I earned $1000 net ($2000 but the ODSP reduced my cheque the next month by half that) doing a French translation of a 20p. report and that paid for my computer upgrade. That $2000 will be my taxable income this year unless something extraordinary happens in the next two months.
