Hines Ward.

Grew up in the same apt complex and went to elementary, middle, and high school together. He practically lived at my house and we played all kinds of sports together.

why didn't you turn pro either?

haha. Unfortunately my athletic genes are not good as his. But I like to say I taught him everything he knows about football when we were younger. :D

Damn, that's awesome. I'm a huge Steelers fan (born in Pitt)

I don't, but my Mom sorta knew Dan Marino. Went to high school with him and he'd play football with the neighborhood boys and she used to watch them.

I almost forgot. Another guy that wouldn't remember me, but I knew him for a short while all the same; one of the guys involved with the invention of the barcode. I only remember his first name: Ray. I was working as a painter that summer and I was put on the team that painted the inside of his 35k sqft. 40 million $ mansion. RUMOR had it that the guy made over 1 million a day in royalties alone! I guess it's believable when most of his house was built from pieces of European castles he'd bought and shipped over seas :Q.

I know one of the animator's that worked on Ice Age 1 and 2, was the lead animator for the Jak and Daxter series, and is currently working on Horton Hears a Who. Got to see the first 90 seconds of the movie, and it's not due out for another year ;)

Wait, is his wife named Louise? Does he work for Blue Sky studios?

I don't believe he's married, but yes, Blue Sky.

Bruce Hornsby. I'm not sure how famous he is or if any of you have ever heard of him before, but my uncle plays with his band.

You kidding us!?

If no one here knows.. then they are retarded!

moron. Hornsby is the ******. more-or-less unofficial keys for the Dead, plus his own bands. I bet plenty of people that were wiping their own asses in the 80's know who Hornsby is.

considering the majority of entries in the previous pages, he's in top 3 of actual famous people listed here.

EDIT: except for that guy with the list....

I went to school with Cam Gigandet, who had a recurring role on The O.C.
Never liked that guy...

I met JoJo last December.
Oh man, if only she were 18 so I could still not have a chance in hell!

My friend has met Techn9ne a couple of times, he might remember her...

About as close as I personally get...my cousin is one of the best-known news anchors in Salt Lake City.

My brother is a big-whig agent in L.A. and people he would include on his list would be Prince, Snoop Dogg, Jerry Bruckheimer, Michelle Wie, the Wachowski brothers, and many others. He had some good stories about trying to make post-Superbowl party arrangements for Prince and his entourage.

Dan Whitney

You know him now as Larry the Cable Guy.

My ex-wife's cousin was also a comic and I would shuttle them around when they came to town to perform since back then getting a rental car in every city was pretty cost prohibitive for them.
