Hey guys-

It's been awhile. I should log on to see what rediculousness awaits.

Things I'd like to see-

*Not everyone an Admin
*Monsters monster's monster's! This adds a whole other depth to the game and encourages group play.
 
Starting over might not be a terrible idea, or if it is possible for you to run 2 servers at once, leave the old one up, but also start a new one. I would hate to lose everything that I have built, but I can understand the reasoning.
 
Alright, I've taken things said under consideration, and here's what I've done.

- New world. I still have the old one and I'll make a map of it when I get some more time, but for now, we're starting fresh
- Mobs are in the ON position. So is health and fall damage.

I'm currently the only mod/admin, also there's no /item command to give yourself stuff, you gotta work for the goods.

I'm still on the fence about how long the server will stay up, but I will post if that changes.

Good job Krakn I'll be sure to log in asap and thank you for your effort in running the server.
 
Something is messed up with the new server for me. I spawned by the water and tried to grab some sand but it would just reappear. So I thought it was obviously spawn protected but I went quite far away and still couldn't harvest anything. But what was weird is I could destroy tree leaves and they stayed gone. Also when I cut down a few animals, they dropped stuff but I wasn't able to pick it up.
 
yeah, i can chop stuff, but i can't pick anything up.

also i'm coming across some missing blocks. if you hack at them, they will get mined, and then surrounding blocks will appear

That could be interesting. Once the mining issue gets sorted, I figure I will wander a good 10-15 minutes this time instead of just the 5 min that I did last time.

Also I am wondering how rude it would be to immediately build a low wall around my place. Just dig up one block of dirt and then place it beside. I thought I had a good place before, but then a neighbor showed up out of the blue, and started building some sort of I don't even know what.
 
I've made sure I have the 64bit java installed, made sure I've tried the .jar launch or the alternative launcher, tried the .exe launch, I can't stop this game from simply going full black screen after about an hour of play.
 
I'm thinking about renting my own minecraft server as I have some steam friends who are playing right now. The server a couple of us are in right now has an owner who is acting quite immature. I'd play with you guys but I want more of a construction server with no night or monsters. I love mining and everything, but having to worry about getting arrowed when I'm mining is frustrating.
 
Im getting crazy graphical errors now after the last update. Random blocks are dark in the day and some random blocks are lit during the night for no reason.

Also when im getting flashes of enemy's when im playing on peaceful, while im running around outside ill see flashes of zombies, creeps, all the enemy's and this happens during the day or night. They dont really exist and cant seem to hurt my character but i can see flashes of them. Guess i wont be playing till they fix it its really annoying.

At this point, even tho there are monsters, they don't seem to do any damage to you, at least last night when I was on, a creeper blew up right next to me and I didn't lose any health.
