who's planning to get Move for PS3?

?

  • yes, getting it launch day

  • yes, getting it within a few weeks

  • yes but going to wait for more titles

  • yes, going to wait for a price drop (or a hot deal)

  • undecided, going to wait for reviews

  • no, not planning to get it at all

  • do not have a PS3, and the Move isn't going to make me get one

It looks better than Kinect IMO but I'm waiting on both to actually have some games worth buying.

I have no real interest in motion controls, but if something really peaks my interest and there is a hot deal, I might snag it up. Either that, or actually end up marrying my fiance and she demands it.

10 year old stepdaughter would probably find this highly entertaining. Might consider it. No personal interest for me, it's simply a market grab at Wii's <10 year old stake.

i'm interested but not jumping on it at launch.

and im not voting because i hate polls that are for a yes or no question and have 7 possible answers

I'm on the fence -- I want a Slim anyway so the 320 GB Move package would get me Move plus and extra 160 GB of disk space for the $100.

I don't have a Wii so I'm not burned out on waggle fun sports games yet.

I might wait awhile to see if someone will offer a gift card, bonus game, etc. instead of paying full price.

within a few weeks of launch providing there are games that utilize it that aren't crap. As a tech demo it seems exciting, but i just hope the games are done right.

Eh, I'm getting it on Friday, I'm a sucker I guess. The wife somewhat enjoyed the Wii when we had it years ago before selling it, it was the only thing she'd ever play with me in terms of video games. It's unfortunate that at the time, the Wii had absolutely zero games and piss-poor motion control (in my opinion, both of these still exist, but whatever).

The Move looks like it has a ton of potential with accuracy and movement, I'm just hoping the games come along for it soon. It'll give me something to play with my wife.

Move's launch date crept up on me. Funny how they're releasing game demos for it on PSN even before it's out. Early reviews for it have been positive. I can see it becoming very gimmicky though. A lot of the launch titles are very similar to the Wii's early games.

I might pick it up in a few months time but I could definitely live without motion control.

come back with a review, willya?

Where's the "hahahaha, god no" option? 😛

Anyway, most likely it is a "never, ever purchase" for me, same with the Kinect. No great titles will ever be made that exclusively use either peripheral, so there's no motivation.

I picked up the Sports Champion bundle and an extra Move controller on lunch today. Have to go eat with some friends after work, so I'll try to jot down my thoughts later tonight once I can play through SC and try out the myriad of demos that supposedly comes on a disc with the bundle.

Mine is on the way right now... on the UPS truck as I type. I love Amazon's release date shipping!

I never had a Wii because I couldn't stand the thought of my shiny new HD TV displaying that fugly 480 graphics 🙂

Unlike many others here, I am pretty stoked by this. I think Sony has done it right and some more compelling games will be out by the time i'm sick of the current lineup.

I've gotten some time to play through four of the six Sports Champions games (ping pong, gladiator, archery, and disc golf) and the Start the Party demo so far. This thing is the absolute real deal, I am completely impressed. It has definitely surpassed my expectations so far in terms of capability and control.

I'll write up a few paragraphs later tonight, can't wait to dig into more of these demos. Time Crisis is up next!

I have a camera already, so would rather see a bundle w/ the wand and the sports game for like $60. Other than that, just going to wait a bit, see what comes out that makes it a 'must buy' proposition, if that ever happens.

How'd you get the Start the Party and Time Crisis demos? ::edit::

I read your last post, damn i just picked up Sports Champions and the Remotes.

Saw this at Wal-Mart yesterday and didn't realize it was out already. I don't play too many games on my PS3 as it is and I'm pretty unimpressed with the Wii when I had it so I doubt I'll get this unless they come out with something completely awesome.
