Who's on Jellybean?

I am!
The people over at rootzwiki took the nandroid of 4.1 and reverse engineered it for CDMA

Woot woot. Silky smooth.

I'm running Vicious' JB. It's just as smooth as the vanilla JB ROM I was running prior to this. It's just so smooth and so good.

I can't believe the difference from ICS to JB, and I thought ICS was amazing. I really want to get rid of my desktop and get a laptop and the Nexus 7. 🙁

I'm running 100% stock Jelly Bean. I bought the Galaxy Nexus for strictly 100% stock Google experience, and I'm not going to ruin it by running hacked up custom rom if I can help it. I haven't had to resort to custom roms yet.

Recovery: stock
ROM: stock takju JRN84D (4.1 Jelly Bean)
Radio: stock XXLF1
Kernel: stock 3.0.31
Bootloader: stock PRIMELC03

was watching a walkthrough of jellybean on the galaxy nexus yesterday, got a serious case of phone envy. My phone is stuck on gingerbread, and my contract isnt up till november.🙁 Gotta decide whether to stay with sprint or not.

Google is rumored to be releasing more nexus phones this thanksgiving, I think I'll have to drop sprint and go unlocked for that, damn CDMA

I'm running the ACSyndicate version for the Sprint Galaxy Nexus. Aside from MMS and other very minor issues it's solid. I saved a Nandroid of it but am a little leery of using it as a daily driver at this point considering it's a preview version. AOKP b40 for me till the official version shows up, at which point I'll be the first in line.

Have you used your GPS? Mine will report me 1/4 of a mile or so off my actual location. I noticed a few others mentioning the same thing in the thread.

Given the typical flakey radios and antennas in the Samsung designed phone, I'm guessing by the time JB comes to the Verizon version, it'll come with an updated radio version too.

Also, I'm still stock on my Nexus. And likely going to stay that way . . . I like to let my anger towards Verizon come to a slow boil. 🙂

I've had my Verizon Gnex on JB since yesterday afternoon. I'm running the completely stock one from RootzWiki too. Definitely a big step forward, but i really miss the toggles and customization from AOKP.

Nope. I'm a high schooler..no need to

well worth it

In regards to the GPS issue I've been seeing it looks like it might be something related to the nexus and not OS specific. I've seen reports it's been happening across stock ICS/JB and multiple ROM's.

I fired up my droid incredible 2 and GPS in gmaps locked fine.

I want to try Jelly Bean but I can't really get by without some of the added features of Cyanogen. I imagine the first nightlies for CM10 will be out in the next couple of weeks; I'll just wait until then.

I'm running JellyBean on my Gnex. So far its incredible, I can't wait for some Roms with more features to become available.
