They will have implants which give off the female hormone progesterone for a year. Injections of testosterone will also given every three months to maintain the male hormone at normal levels.

Enjoy your manboobs. I hope it perma-neuters you.

don't be dumb. the reason you get man-boobs while taking roids is b/c your testosterone levels go out of wack, and then your other hormones go up to, to try and maintain equilibrium w/ the testosterone. If everything stays at normal levels, all should be good. :)

Right, so messing with your body's hormonal balance is a natural, normal thing. Must have forgotten about that part of this experimental implantation.

On a related note, anyone else find the phrase "Experimental birth control" kinda disconcerting? :p

Women have been doing it for years, what's your problem?

Hey, if it's tested and proven over long periods of time to be safe, effective, and "Does Not Cause Titty Growth" then I might be game; but I'm sure there weren't many instant female adopters of "The Pill" or Norplant right out of the starting gate.

Well, shyte, they have to start somewhere...

Of course, you have to understand by "implants" they are referring to the atual injection... :p (If you picked that up, just ignore me, I'm babbling)

:D

ive never felt it was a good idea to inject anyone with hormones of the opposite sex. i realize in some cases it may be medically needed, but for something like birth control it just doesnt seem like a good idea to me personally. in my experience with my wife, and talking to other women, the pill is usually more trouble than its worth. weight gain, magnified cramps, mood swings, etc. there are other just as effective methods without the need for chemicals.

i wont be taking any boob juice any time soon. it was worth having a vasectomy just to have my wife more balanced in her mood, and we already have all the children we need.
