Considering I'm only playing CS:S at the moment, and the next game I play will be Aftermath, I don't really think I'll need to get this card (HL2 HDR works on my GTX :thumbsup;). Once UT2K7, Crysis, and Vista get close, I'll sell my GTX and pick up an R600/G80. Bring on the next generation!

Edit: This summer I'm hopefully gonna pull in some $$$, making me able to get the R600/G80 and hopefully a shiny new Dell 2407FPW... rip roarin' and ready for Vista.

Ill be waiting until the next generation. My 6800GT is doing just fine with the games I am playing.

Meh, I'll just get a X1800 or 7800 if a cheap one pops up on FS/FT. My X800 GTO2 is doing fine.

...Well, except for the fact I fryed it while OC'ing and some games look at bit. well... I don't play those games anymore.

No complaints with my x850xt. Plus for me to make the next jump I'll need to buy a new mobo and I can't see myself doing that for several months. Would see minimal improvement going to a 7800 gs or whatever the agp variant is. That card might as well be castrated relative to it's pci-e siblings.

Just moved from a 6800GT to a 7800GT for a total loss of $50.

Will be waiting for G71/X1900s just for fun to look at benchmarks.. next purchase will likely be GF8 unless I think I can pull another $50 upgrade to move from the 7800GT to a G71.
At this point, I'm more interested in the unified cards.

Unified pipes in SLI FTW.

I voted for the last option because the next generation mid range cards are more likely to be passively cooled by virtue of nVidia's manufacturing shrink.

well since there are no official benchmarks yet i wont buy a x1900.

if it trounces the 7800gtx 512mb and comes under $400US then ATI will have persuaded me to buy x1900 :)

Me. Installed in system and running. Seems to be some sort of incompatbility problem with my K8N Neo4 PE, as I had to install an old Matrox Millenium II (32-bit PCI) in order to get video and be able to boot, then update the BIOS to 1.CB5.
