Whole wheat bagel with peanut butter

When I was getting my daily latte this morning, some college girl ordered a whole wheat bagel with peanut butter.

How healthy is that?

If it nasty peanut butter with trans fats, etc.? "Natural" peanut butter isn't that bad, and it's high in protein. The bagel has a lot of carbs, but for breakfast I wouldn't worry about it much.

waay more calories than she needed. ~250 (bagel) + ~150-200 (PB). Otherwise its fine.

for someone who's active, there's not much better. A bagel has lots of carbs and fiber, and peanut butter has carbs, protein and good fats. That is my pre-race breakfast in fact. It's healthier than the steak egg and cheese sandwich I got from Dunkin Donuts today

its a serving of protein and carbs. its probabley too much food and has a lot of sugar but if she is active it would be more than fine.

If it's strictly a latte it's only milk + espresso. Espresso has almost no calories, so we're looking at <= 100 calories, total; of course, that assumes a normal sized drink and not some 32oz nonsense.
