WHOA! Look at DFI's Canterwood Motherboard

Wow! Just shows how firmly aimed at the performance market the I-875 is...a company designed a board for hardcore gamers with UV reactive parts and a case strap. Incredible...I guess there won't be any complaints of no onboard video for this board. 😉

I wonder if anyone else will come up with something like that. I'm planning some nice lighting and such for my next system with a window.

This is pretty neat. I have a Lian-Li with a window that this would work well in. I wish the price was a little lower though.

And I thought my blue cathode was cool...black light anyone?

Looks nice, but you can do that with mobo today (although you'd probably be better off w/ white pci slots etc if you plan to put uv reactive paint/marker etc on it).

So let me get this straight, here's a company that really has no track record of quality or anything else and people are salivating over some orange glowing PCI slots? 😕

When I see goofy stuff like that on a mobo, video card or anything else that goes in a PC case, it turns me off. It's just so gimmicky and cheesy. I'll go for a solid product on a plain green PCB any day. I'd rather see money spent on quality components instead of gold heatsinks, red or glow in the dark PCBs, LED fans etc. I guess the low end makers have to have some gimmick to get people interested in their products.

I know this is for the case mod/window crowd. I really don't care what the inside of my PC looks like (other than tidy).

Just MHO.

I don't think anyone's (well, some might be) planning on buying it or any other 875 without reading some reviews first. But it's good to have a list.

Amen Brother! Gotta put that modded case in the back of the "Civic Type R" with the big loud coffee can exhaust, 20 inch rims and 20.0005 inch tires.
