Yup, I have heard the name, but have never heard(AFAIK) of anyone actually owning one before.

What's wrong with DFI motherboards? I've never heard any major complaints about them, and if I have, I'm sure I can dig up as many (if not more) complaints about EVERY motherboard manufacturer. Everyone gets a bad board at some point. I'm not saying I'm going to go run out and buy one of these, but at least they're trying something new. And I'm really surprised that this forum is down on them for doing something LAN party/case mod friendly...I AM on AT, right???

It's red? My wife thought it was pink when I installed her board. :D

I like the basic green of my Epox nForce2 personally.

Definitely looks cool. I'll have to check out some reviews first, but I'll put this on my list of Canterwood Contenders?.

The whole situation reminds me of the Joint Strike Fighter program. If Boeing and Lockheed's fighter jets worked exactly as spec'ed and achieved everything that the Army wanted, then the final decision would have been based on looks.

If this DFI mobo has the same specs, operates reliably, and priced competitively, it'll be mine. That's of course... if.

I dunno, I never had any problems with the two DFI boards I have. (still in use, both KT266A boards) They are the most trouble free, painless, boards I've ever owned. But then again, I built them for stability, and do zero overclocking. DFI has been around for years, but cater to the OEM market. Hey you gotta start somewhere right? I don't know why people are so quick to judge, I mean would you dismiss Albatron boards before reading any reviews of it just because you never heard of the name?

And then there's ECS. People like the K7S5A so much even though they are complete utter garbage. There is a laundry list of "issues" that people are so willing to work around even though all that could be avoided with a higher quality, lesser name board for a dollar or to more (see Shuttle AK32A). I don't get it. But then again, I'm just bitter that I had to send 3 of those POS ECS boards back to newegg. Okay end of rant.
