I haven't laughed at a single Carlin skit yet... care to try to fix that? 😱

Oh and since someone's going to say I'm obviously some religious fanatic, I couldn't give a rat's ass about religion. As long as you don't hurt anybody else and don't bother me, do what you will.

Why do we drive in a parkway and park in a driveway!?

I will never understand peoples need to come into a thread started to memorialize the loss of someone and piss all over it. Obviously a significant number of people in this community thought he was someone of note so why not just let us memorialize the guy and save your opinions of him for another day?

Rather ironic isn't it? He was much smarter, more successful, and did more for this country than you ever will. I will miss him pissing off idiots like you.

RIP.

Well who gives a shit who turned it on?! What does that have to do with anything? It's on, isn't it?

And who made this man a Captain, might I ask?

Did I sleep through some sort of an Armed Forces swearing-in ceremony or something?

Captain? He's a fucking pilot and let him be happy with that.

If those 'sight-seeing announcements' are any mark of his intellect, he's lucky to be working at all.

Tell the Captain: 'Air Marshal Carlin says go fuck yourself!'"

Bummer that he's gone.

"Get on the plane, get on the plane." Fuck you, I'm getting IN the plane! Let Evil Kenival get ON the plane.

George Carlin, I salute you! *presses DELETE on his cell phone*

Because there was some huge discussion over it? Sorry that I urinated in yer corn flakes, buddy.

Sure I do. I just don't like that type of humor, nor do I like British humor. As an example, I find Monty Python annoying as all hell.

Oh and to shut the annoying priss up, here's a

for him. Just because I don't like his comedy doesn't mean that I think he wasn't good. I think his work was edgy and well done, but I simply don't find it funny.

He was the funnies comedian of all time. I could watch his routines over and over and not get tired. Those who didn't think he was funny prob. think Mencia is the sh!t

the man was brilliant, i respected his knowledge, skill and opinions. he was my all time favorite comedian. he will be missed.

I regret not being able to have ever seen him live. I fell in love with his comedy in HS and memorized a lot of his stuff. He helped me to start thinking critically about our society and humanity in general in a humerous way, instead of getting angry or depressed about all of it.

Mr. Carlin you have brought countless smiles, laughs, and good times to so many people I hope you bring the same to your afterlife.

He wasn't funny, but a soul lost is always saddening. 🙁

Indeed. Not funny in the slightest. Hope he found peace in the end.

His jokes hit a little too close to home?

Dunno. I never heard any jokes, just an old boring guy cursing alot. Sarah Silverman is funny, and way more offensive if I could be offended.

bitch, are you retarded?

Someone who thinks Sarah Silverman is funnier than George Carlin. wtf is this world coming to.

2nd, that girl is annoying....

The only way Sarah Silverman can get a funny bone in her body is to fvck a funny man like George Carlin 🙂

To each their own. I think he has good writing, but it just doesn't make me laugh. The point of that post was to say, "Hey, maybe I haven't seen his best stuff. Show me what you think is his best and I'll give it a shot."

Personally, I always thought he had an amusing performance in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back though (more so amusing with Carrie Fisher's scene).

I understand where the Carlin haters are coming from. it's just like how the Carlin haters love Clay Aiken. I hate Gayken's music, but I acknowledge he's a good singer, as well as very popular with Carlin haters.

As usual, Classy has his head up his ass.

Carlin was widely known for being exceedingly bright. You may not think he's funny, you may not agree with him (I often didn't) and you may not like him, but his high intelligence was never in doubt.

You don't understand Classy. His philosophy:

Look at the consensus viewpoint on a subject and go in the completely opposite direction.
